Overview

In addition to providing regulatory consulting and risk management services for its institutional long-term care and assisted living clients, Starnes Davis Florie works with physicians and their practices as well as hospitals to ensure federal and state compliance with statutory and regulatory aspects of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), and the changing landscape of patient privacy and notice requirements.  Whether in response to a complaint, or part of an ongoing relationship to maintain compliance with evolving regulations, experienced attorneys are available to help healthcare professionals navigate these complex areas of law.
