S&A Attorneys Obtain Defense Verdict After a Two Week Trial
On October 31, 2008, Bob MacKenzie , Randy Sellers, and Christian Hines received a defense verdict in favor of an emergency department physician in the Circuit Court of Mobile County, Alabama. The two week trial arose from the death of a 51 year old male. The patient's family claimed the defendant physician breached the standard of care by failing to properly diagnose the patient as suffering from an intracerebral hemorrhage, failing to obtain a neurosurgical consult, failing to perform a head CT scan, and failing to admit the patient. The defense was supported by experts in the fields of emergency care, and neurosurgery.
