Wright & Newton Obtain Defense Verdict in Favor of General Surgeon
On April 20, 2009, Mike Wright and George Newton obtained a defense verdict in favor of a general surgeon, in a medical malpractice case alleging negligent failure to detect bowel injury and negligent failure to surgically repair a fistula. Following a week long trial in Lee County, the jury returned a verdict in favor of defendant.
